Clinical Supervision

Therapy is a highly effective way to deal with any number of problems or concerns. Therapy is a cooperative effort in which we work together to help you engage with your mind, your environment, and your relationships in a healthier, more productive way. Therapy is pragmatic yet deeply meaningful; it simultaneously focuses on immediate problems and opportunities for long-term growth. Throughout our work together, I strive to offer help that resonates with your individual needs and preferences.

While every person - and every therapy - is different, for the most part I work with people in ongoing, insight-oriented therapy at a frequency of at least one session per week. Psychoanalysis is an intensive form of ongoing therapy in which we meet multiple times per week. This allows you the time and space to truly begin to understand how and why your mind works the way it does. With this understand come changes of all kinds, some expected and others not, but all of which reflect invaluable changes in you, changes that may enable you to live a more satisfying, meaningful live while better navigating the challenges we all inevitably must face.

Couples Therapy

Couples seek therapy in order to improve their ability to speak and listen to each other. Through therapy, couples can better handle all sorts of challenges including intimacy problems, trust issues, and environmental stress (financial, health crises, life adjustments). It can help couples deepen their relationship or end their connection in a healthy, amicable way.  As in my work with individuals, I am ready and eager to work with couples of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and genders.

I supervise licensed mental health clinicians. I am especially prepared to help therapists looking to develop their ability to provide relationship-based therapy focused on increasing depth and insight. My supervision style integrates clinical and theoretical topics with attention to the practical aspects of building and maintaining a private practice.
